IN THE SPOTLIGHT - June

This month, In the Spotlight, is Paultons Park, located just outside of Dorset, in Hampshire, on the edge of the New Forest and within a short distance from the city of Southampton.  

Our founder, Emma, was proud to have co-hosted the very first Creator Conquest at the theme park's new land Valgard, alongside Robin from Our Hampshire and Beyond and Liz Lean PR. The event was a huge success and we're really pleased with all the fantastic content that has come out of it!  

The event saw 35 local content creators from across Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire coming together, with their families in tow, to celebrate the launch of the new land with a day at the park, and an exclusive after hours event in Valgard with a buffet dinner at the Feasting Hall, a talk from brothers James and Lawrence Mancey, 3rd generation owners of the park, and a chance to go on the three new rides without the queue times! 

The feedback has been amazing and we are so impressed with the new land at Paultons Park, which has built upon what was already a fun family attraction in the South. The excitement doesn't stop here either as there is a brand new coaster ride coming in Spring 2027! 

If you haven't been to Paultons Park before, or if it's been a few years since your last visit, I would definitely recommend heading over to see all the new fun to be had. I personally love the Ghostly Manor ride, which is lots of fun without the adrenaline rush of the bigger (scarier) rides, however my kids all love Drakon in Valgard - which is definitely thrilling! If you're visiting with younger kids, there is the brilliant Peppa Pig World to visit, which is sure to delight... 

If you are looking for a fun family day out, suitable for a range of ages, Paultons Park has it all - and Valgard is fantastic for those aged 8+. We can't wait for our next event with them... 

This month, In the Spotlight, is Marsham Court Hotel, situated in an enviable position, with views out across to Bournemouth pier and the surrounding beaches. Marsham Court will always hold a special place in my heart as it’s the location of my first dream job in hospitality and it’s where I met my now husband Ed as well. 

Marsham Court is run by the enigmatic Rosie, the hotel’s managing director, who is hugely supportive of many local businesses and charities alike. 

Rosie and her brilliant team provide hotel accommodation, dining menus and functions (including weddings), with beautiful decor and flexible spaces for any event. As well as their prominent position on the cliffside, only steps from the town centre, Marsham Court also have plenty of onsite parking, and an outdoor heated pool, which operates May to September. The hotel is proud to be accessible and dog-friendly, with kids under 5 eating free. 

When it comes to event planning, Marsham Court know what they’re doing and offer a range of characterful spaces to suit whatever function you are planning in the Bournemouth area, whether big or intimate. Their spaces include The Ballroom, perfect for larger meetings and grand events, The Plantation, which is brilliantly versatile, and can include access to the garden space. The Bit on the Side is perfect for those smaller meetings, whilst The View boasts sea views and works for intimate events and small group discussions. Room Hire prices for meetings include everything you would need, taking the stress out of planning for event organisers and business owners alike. 

I can personally vouch that the process was stress-free when organising our fantastic launch event, where I was assisted by Jo and Jane to bring my vision to life in a seamless process, which filled me with confidence that the team knew what they were doing and would help make the night a success!
